Bio
My art-making practice started early with drawings of horses and a love of all crafts. I earned a BFA in printmaking at the University of Washington and a Master’s in Studio Art from New York University. I love to learn new things and I have a wide skill set across many mediums. I have over twenty-five years of art teaching experience. I use a wide range of subject matter in my work such as patterns, geometric shapes, portraits, and animals. Some of my work addresses my perspective as a lesbian and my desire to spread positivity surrounding the LGBTQIA community. In the past five years, I have been making multimedia installations and learning many new digital art skills. I have made Augmented Reality experiences populated with my drawn animations and 3D scans of my sculptures. This new way of making interactive installations that can be experienced anywhere is thrilling!
